To the Daytrip Cafe!

As someone who regularly cruises through the Letter Streets for theatre, work, and other things, we were thrilled to see a cafe take up residence next to Elizabeth Station! The Daytrip Cafe is just as cute and cozy as one would hope for a cafe and when we popped in it was delightfully quiet. One person working on a laptop and a group of four chatting away.

Located at 1400 W Holly Street #102, Bellingham, Washington 98225, with free parking makes it so easy to pop in for a expertly made coffee and snack. What I really loved, in addition to the very tasty white chocolate mocha, was my cup had this hand drawn picture on it. Will the cafe always do that? I don’t know, but it sure made my day to pick up that cup and be informed: “You’re the G.O.A.T.” — What I imagine will stick around is the beautiful inventory of handcrafted goodies. We saw necklaces, bags, and artwork on display.

We also snagged a pastries from Lamination Station and considered getting a Bagelry bagel as well.

The space had beautiful windows and a ton of natural light fluttering in even on the cool wintery/spring day. It felt like a great third space to come and relax, meet up, and just sink into your surrounding.

While Chef and I had more errands to run, we most certainly felt the pull and tug to just simmer down and enjoy the space and get our coffee to stay and poured into a mug. I am so excited to see how Daytrip Cafe grows!

Daytrip Cafe, your coffee stop might get cozied into a full day trip!

I love that there is a cafe and cup of coffee for everyone in Bellingham. I am excited to see how Daytrip Cafe grows sets down it’s own roots with it’s crafty and cozy style!
