Things Bellingham, WA is Not.

After the World Cup and seeing Jude Bellingham in action, I had the wonderful laugh about how many people around the world are perplexed by Bellingham, Washington the Pacific Northwest town and all the things Bellingham, WA is not.

• Bellingham, WA is not a Professional Soccer Athlete, that is Jude Bellingham.

• Bellingham, WA is not on the East Coast, that is Bellingham, Massachusetts.

• Bellingham, WA does not have a “Norfolk County”, that is Bellingham, Massachusetts (again).

• Bellingham, WA is not the closest town to the Canadian border, that’s Blaine, WA.

• Bellingham, WA is not a massive metropolis, that’s Seattle, WA.

• Bellingham, WA does not have an “official” mascot, but we do have The Bellingham Bell’s Dinger the Hamster, Western Washington University’s Victor E. Viking, and the Sloth.

• Bellingham, WA does not have an “official motto” but did adopt, “City of Subdued Excitement”.
